Ken's Championship Double
DVCC member Ken Hargreaves (Team Swift Allsports)
has achieved two outstanding results in recent CTT
National Championship Time Trials.
Ken took first place in the over 65 category at both the
25 and 50 mile championship events. Great rides.
We have been promised all the details, including the
dope test!!! at the next cafe stop.
Evening Time Trials Cancelled
Due to the lack of entriesfor DVCC Thursday evening Time Trials, it has been decided that the remaining events will be cancelled.
The Wythop hill climb on Sunday 28th September 2008 will remain.
New Sportive for Cumbria
The 'Gore Bike Wear Road Sportive' part of the Merida
Bikes Series, starts from Lowther Deer Park near Penrith
on Saturday, Setember 13th. There are two mileage
options with a long route of 80/100 miles or a shorter
loop of 40/50 miles. For more details click the following link:

Coniston Corporate Embroidery have now provided the club with an 'online shop' from which to purchase leisure wear. By clicking the Coniston link to the left you can now order embroidered club clothing direct from the supplier. The minimum order quantity is 1 garment.

we are subject to a 20% surcharge, for 6-11
garments it's a 10% surcharge and over 11
garments there is no surcharge.
