Lanequests
All events open to the public, to be guaranteed a map please email: lizjon@btinternet.com stating name and age, (and partner if riding as a pair). All welcome to enter on the night as a first come first served basis, limited number of spare maps to be printed, so if possible please book a map.

Cost of each event £3 for full TCA member, £5 if not. Generation pairs (adult with under 16 year old) price of a single. Any profits made on the events will be donated to charity.
Events start between 6 and 7pm for two hours duration. After which penalties are awarded for lateness. Last start time of 7pm, to ensure return before lights are required.
Maps will cover local tarmac lanes and have 20 checkpoints of 10 points each. Checkpoints can be collected in any numerical order, so route choice and map reading skills are beneficial.

duathlon has been held in this location.
Whinlatter Forest is a fantastic area for trail running
& mountain biking with an extensive network of trails in a mountain environment. The run routes are a combination of well surfaced singletrack & forest trails & quite hilly! The mtb route is a good mix of technical singletrack & forest roads incorporating the new bike trails.

The venue is the Castle in Market Place, Cockermouth. The meetings take place on the last Tuesday of every month.
